Slide T-Nut for 20 Series Aluminium Extrusion Profile with 6 mm Slot (M4, M5)
The T-nut is one of the main components of aluminum profile structures. Using a simple nut inside an aluminum profile slot is very difficult and almost impossible. The T-nut is designed with various slot sizes and screw sizes to make working with aluminum extrusion frames easier. The reason for using these nuts is the ease of use in tightening the screws of aluminum profile corner connections or other accessories. These nuts are placed inside the profile slots and prevent rotation, allowing screws to be tightened from the outside.
This nut is designed for 6mm slot profiles and 20-series aluminum extrusion profiles. Its thread size is M4 and M5, enabling various screws to be fastened with this size.
This product is made of zinc-plated iron and has sufficient strength.
Difference between T-Nut and Hammer T-Nut
Different models of T-nuts are designed for various applications and use in different locations. However, two types of T-nuts are more commonly used: the Slide T-nut and the Hammer T-nut. The main difference between these nuts is that the Slide T-nut is rectangular and must be inserted into the slot from the beginning or the end of the profile and moved to the desired location before tightening the screw. In contrast, the hammer T-nut is designed with rounded corners so that it can be inserted into the middle of the profile slot. As soon as you start turning the screw, the T-nut rotates with it until it is fixed to the edges of the profile. Then, the screw can be fully tightened. To take out the nut, simply rotate the screw in the opposite direction, and it will easily come out of the slot.
